Amman, September 12 (Petra) – The Northern Military Zone on Saturday
thwarted an infiltration attempt along one of its border sectors
after Border Guard forces detected an individual attempting to cross
the border illegally.
The forces apprehended the infiltrator and referred him to the
relevant authorities for the necessary legal action.
The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed that Border Guard forces remain
committed to carrying out their duties with efficiency and competence
to protect the Kingdom’s borders and sovereignty.
The forces remain ready to firmly confront all forms of infiltration
and illicit activity, contributing to the Kingdom’s security and
stability and safeguarding the safety of the nation and its citizens.
