Singapore, October 09 (QNA) – Oil prices fell in Asian trading today as concerns over Middle East supplies eased.
Brent crude futures declined by USD 0.72, or 0.7 percent, to USD 103.53 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also fell by USD 0.52 cents, or 0.6 percent, to USD 90.97 per barrel.
Remarks by US President Donald Trump, in which he described ongoing talks with Iran as constructive, helped ease concerns over oil supplies.
Despite the decline, Brent crude is heading for a weekly gain, having risen by 4 percent at the close of trading on Thursday. (QNA)
