Oman Air Launches Inaugural
Flight to Copenhagen
Muscat, 21 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Oman
Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has launched its inaugural
flight to the Danish capital, Copenhagen, via the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, as
part of its ambitious plan to expand its international network.
This new service, operating under
Fifth Freedom traffic rights, marks Oman Air’s first direct presence in both
Iraq and Denmark, reaffirming the national carrier’s commitment to enhancing
global connectivity and strengthening strategic links between the Middle East
region and the European continent.
It is noted that this route will be
operated using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, offering a comprehensive travel
experience designed to meet travelers’ expectations.
