Geneva, February 26 (QNA) – Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi confirmed that the third round of indirect nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran, which concluded Thursday in Geneva, achieved significant progress.
In a statement carried by the Oman News Agency (ONA), he said that technical discussions will be held next week in Vienna.
This round of negotiations began Thursday, and after three hours of intensive talks, the negotiations entered a break to allow the negotiating teams to consult with their respective capitals on the topics of discussion.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed the conclusion of this round of nuclear talks. He told reporters during the break in the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States that practical proposals were put forward in the nuclear field and regarding the lifting of sanctions.
Baghaei noted that the negotiations had been very serious and intensive since the morning, with talks lasting approximately three hours. (QNA)
