Gaza, June 27 (QNA) – A woman was killed and several other Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli drone strike targeted tents sheltering displaced people in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis, according to medical sources.
The death toll from the Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip starting October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,051 killed, in addition to 173,437 injured.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel entered into force on October 10, 2025 following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from positions and populated areas in the Gaza Strip and the beginning of the return of displaced residents to the northern part of the territory.
This took place as part of the first phase of US President, Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza. (QNA)
