OOC Participates in Meetings of Directors of
Sports Missions in Japan
Tokyo, 24 Sep (ONA) — Oman Olympic
Committee (OOC) today took part in meetings of directors
of sports missions to the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026).
The meetings, held in Japan, discussed all technical
and administrative matters related to countries’ participation in the 20th
Asian Games. The participants reviewed a list of cities
and venues set for accommodation and competitions, sports complexes, training
sites and services offered to national Olympic committees.
The 20th Asian Games will see the
participation of about 15,000 athletes and officials representing the 45
national Olympic committees across Asia.
Scheduled to be held from 19 September
to 4 October 2026, the Asian Games constitute the second-largest multi-sport
event of its kind in the world, after Summer Olympics.
