Gaza, June 27 (QNA) – A 10-year-old Palestinian child died on Saturday from wounds sustained in an Israeli bombardment of the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
The sources said the child had been injured in an Israeli strike on Khan Younis last Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement, with artillery shelling and military vehicles targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip, accompanied by heavy gunfire and a limited ground incursion.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery and military vehicles shelled the eastern areas of the Maghazi refugee camp.
In northern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles advanced into central Jabalia refugee camp, accompanied by heavy gunfire.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery targeted the southern areas of Khan Younis, while tanks opened heavy fire east of the city.
The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 73,043 martyrs, with 173,417 others wounded. (QNA)
