Amman, Sep. 17 (Petra) – Azerbaijan has underscored importance of
strengthening joint cooperation and partnerships with Arab nations
across various sectors.
These efforts contribute to support peace, stability, and development
in the region, while also fostering intercultural dialogue and
enhancing regional and international cooperation.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Azerbaijan Embassy in Amman noted
that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and
Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential
Administration, highlighted this stance during the Arab Media Forum
and the Arab Media Summit held in the United Arab Emirates.
During the event, he outlined his country’s approach to strengthening
relations with Arab nations and its vision for regional cooperation.
Speaking at a high-level session in Dubai, attended by the Foreign
Minister of Georgia and the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism,
Hajiyev stated Azerbaijan continues to “reinforce its position as a
nation linked to the South Caucasus, the Caspian Sea, Central Asia,
the Islamic world, and the Middle East.
He underscored the significance of the partnerships aimed to connect
Azerbaijan with Arab countries.
