Pregnant woman killed by Israeli fire in Southern Gaza

Amman, Sept 12 (Petra) – A pregnant Palestinian woman died on
Saturday, succumbing to wounds sustained earlier from Israeli gunfire
in the southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

They said the woman and her fetus were wounded in the city of Khan
Younis several days ago, and passed away today from their wounds.

Also today, Israeli occupation forces opened up with artillery and
gunfire east of Deir al-Balah and Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza,
according to Palestinian sources.

Artillery shelling, along with fire from attack helicopters, also
struck northern areas of the Strip, including east of Jabalia,
Al-Atatra, and east of Gaza City, they said.

In the south of the enclave, Israeli artillery shelled the western
areas of Rafah City and gunboats opened fire off the Khan Younis
coast.
