Amman, June 29 (Petra) – Preparations are underway to organize an
official and public homecoming reception for the Jordanian national
football team following their historic participation in the 2026
World Cup. The team is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at
Queen Alia International Airport.
The reception is organized in recognition of the Nashama’s
performance during the World Cup, where they presented an honorable
image of Jordan and its sports sector, reflecting a deep spirit of
belonging and determination on the global stage.
The welcoming event will feature official and public ceremonies with
the participation of relevant authorities, alongside performances by
the Jordanian Armed Forces Band.
Official media coverage will document the moment of arrival, after
which the national team will travel in a dedicated bus along an
internal route leading to the Airport Road, amid an organized
gathering of fans.
