Doha, July 06 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense of the Republic of Ireland, Helen McEntee, who is currently visiting the country.
They explored ways to support and strengthen bilateral relations and discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability in the region following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
They also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
Following the meeting, HE Sheikh Mohammed attended the signing ceremony of an MoU establishing political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of both countries.
The MoU was co-signed by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi and HE McEntee. (QNA)
