Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) – Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan patronized
the closing ceremony of the 7th “Lenabtaker Competition” in
Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Youth.

Organized by Entro Gate in Amman on Wednesday, the event brought
together young innovators from across the Arab region to solve
real-world challenges across eight sectors.

Talking at the ceremony, Entro Gate CEO Samar Obeidat pointed to the
“vital role” of early entrepreneurship education in preparing
students for a rapidly changing workforce and fostering a
knowledge-based economy.

Out of 53 finalist projects, top honors went to the Dyslexia Go team
from Pioneer Educational Academy. Second place was awarded to the
educational schoolbag project from Capher Qasem Secondary School in
Gaza, Palestine, whose members received remote training and presented
virtually despite ongoing regional challenges.

Third place went to Packpal from the Amman Baccalaureate School,
fourth to Glovely from Al-Hashimiyyah Mixed School for Girls, and
fifth to KITT from Manarat Al-Riyadh International School in Saudi
Arabia.

Sector-specific awards were also handed out to standout projects
across the region. Farmaway from Bayader Beirut School in Lebanon
took top honors in the Environment and Sustainability category, while
Tharwati from Jordan International Schools won first place in Culture
and Financial Solutions.

SWITCH from Al Khader Modern Schools in Jordan led the Transportation
and Smart Cities category, and Saferace from Manarat Al-Riyadh won in
Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

The ceremony concluded with recognition for second- and third-place
teams across all eight sectors, alongside special awards for best
prototype, best presentation pitch, innovation, social impact, and
teamwork.
