Doha, October 07 (QNA) – Qatar’s stock market index closed lower on Wednesday, falling 49.77 points, or 0.54%, to 9,209.53.
Trading on the Qatar Stock Exchange saw 89.2 million shares change hands, with turnover reaching QR 200.7 million through 13,947 transactions across all sectors.
Shares in eight companies rose, while 38 companies declined and seven remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
The market’s total capitalization stood at QR 558.7 billion at the close, down from QR 561.2 billion in the previous session. (QNA)
