Doha, October 08 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has participated in a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Prince Naif Arab Security Award, held virtually on Thursday.
HE Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al Kaabi, Qatar’s Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior and a member of the award’s Board of Trustees, represented the country at the meeting.
The meeting reviewed several items on the award’s agenda and approved a number of decisions concerning its activities.
Officials said that Qatar’s participation reflects the Ministry of Interior’s support for initiatives aimed at strengthening Arab security cooperation.
The Prince Naif Arab Security Award is regarded as one of the prominent initiatives supporting security efforts across the Arab world. (QNA)
