Amman, July 20 (Petra) — Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited
the Asayel Bader Charity Society in Amman on Monday, where she met
with a number of its beneficiaries and learned about its efforts to
empower the local community.

During the visit, the Queen met with the society’s president, Iman Al
Abbadi, and several board members, who briefed Her Majesty on the
inspiration behind Asayel Bader’s establishment. She also spoke with
a group of the society’s beneficiaries, who elaborated on how its
programs have impacted their lives.

Through its flagship empowerment and training programs, Asayel Bader
creates employment opportunities for local residents, produces and
markets traditional food products, and implements hands-on community
initiatives for youth.

It also seeks to maximize the sustainable use of agricultural land by
planting fruit-bearing trees and organizing seasonal community
harvests for essential crops.

Al Abbadi outlined the society’s development initiatives, which equip
members of the local community with the training and resources needed
to strengthen their livelihoods.

She also spoke about Asayel Bader’s collaboration with academic
volunteers and environmental activists, who support local farmers and
help market their products.

While touring the society, Her Majesty visited a breadmaking station
and learned about a selection of the society’s products prepared by
local women.

She also dropped by a sewing workshop, as well as a pickle and
jam-making workshop organized by the Vocational Training Corporation
for the area’s young people.

Founded in 2019 in Bader Al Jadeedah, Amman, the Asayel Bader Charity
Society is dedicated to economic empowerment, agricultural
development, and the preservation of Jordan’s cultural heritage. Its
initiatives aim to promote sustainable agriculture and social
development.
