Amman, June 30 (Petra) – An Air Tractor light aircraft assigned to
the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) executed a precautionary
emergency landing on Tuesday in the Bala’ama-Zaytouna area of the
Mafraq Governorate, following a sudden technical failure during a
routine training sortie.
An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian
Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) stated that the aircrew responded to
the emergency in strict accordance with standard operating
procedures. The pilots’ professional handling of the critical
malfunction enabled them to bring the airframe down safely without
sustaining injuries.
Specialized technical investigation teams from the RJAF have
dispatched to the site to conduct a comprehensive technical
evaluation, isolate the flight anomaly, and determine the precise
cause of the failure.
