Russia temporarily restricts flights at Zhukovsky Airport and other Moscow airports

Moscow, July 29 (Petra) — Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency on
Wednesday announced temporary flight restrictions at Zhukovsky
International Airport and several other airports in Moscow as a
precautionary measure to ensure aviation safety and regulate air
traffic.

In a statement, the agency said the restrictions include the
temporary suspension of take-offs and landings at the airport, adding
that the measures will remain in effect until the circumstances
prompting their introduction have been resolved and flight operations
can safely resume.
