Moscow, July 22 (Petra) — Russia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew
by 0.3% in June, bringing total economic expansion to 0.2% for the
first half of the year amid a broader slowdown in economic activity,
the Ministry of Economic Development said on Wednesday.
In a press release, the ministry stated that the figures reflect a
continued modest pace of growth during the first six months of the
year, driven by uneven performance across economic sectors.
Production and commercial activity were influenced by domestic shifts
and global economic developments, the ministry added.
