Moscow, Sept. 16 (Petra) — Russia’s grain harvest has reached
approximately 100 million tonnes so far in the 2026 agricultural
season, up 12.5 percent compared to the same period last year, the
Ministry of Agriculture announced on Wednesday.
In a statement, the ministry said harvesting operations have covered
nearly 28 million hectares of grain and legume crops, representing
over 65 percent of the total cultivated area, with harvesting work
ongoing across Russian regions.
