Saudi Arabia intercepts armed drones targeting major oil sites

Amman, July 27 (Petra) – Saudi forces intercepted multiple armed
drones targeting oil infrastructure across the Eastern Region and
Riyadh, according to Saudi Ministry of Defense spokesperson Turki
Malki on Monday.

He stated that the drones were launched from Iraqi territory, carried
out by Iran-backed groups.

Malki asserted the country’s right to defend its territory and
resources, warning that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to retaliate
at a time and place of its choosing.
