Amman, July 23 (Petra) — The Southern Military Zone thwarted an
attempted illegal border infiltration by four individuals early
Thursday.
The infiltrators were detected by Border Guard forces while
attempting to cross the border unlawfully. The forces applied the
approved rules of engagement, arrested the individuals, and referred
them to the competent authorities to take the required legal action.
The Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army reaffirmed that it continues to
respond firmly to all forms of infiltration and smuggling in order to
protect the Kingdom’s security, stability, and borders from any
potential threats.
