Dakar (SUNA) — Sudan participated in the 89th session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, represented by a delegation headed by Sudan’s Ambassador to Senegal, Abdel-Ghani Al-Naeim. The session opened on October 12 and will continue until October 21 in the Senegalese capital, Dakar. Discussions focus on progress, obstacles, opportunities and challenges facing human rights across the continent, including armed conflicts, terrorism, organised crime, migration flows and the consequences of climate change.
