KHARTOUM, (SUNA) — The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) issued a statement on Friday announcing the liberation of the Sodari area in North Kordofan State following fierce fighting, confirming that the terrorist militia suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment. The statement said: “Your Armed Forces and supporting forces, with unwavering determination and unbreakable resolve, continue to carry out operations along the various fronts of fighting to reclaim the homeland’s territory from the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia and its mercenaries.” The Armed Forces added in the statement: “With Allah’s help and guidance, our forces today, Friday, succeeded in liberating the Sodari area in North Kordofan State after fierce fighting that inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.” The Armed Forces renewed their commitment to remain steadfast in serving the nation, drawing strength from the resilience of the Sudanese people, the sacrifices of the martyrs, and the bravery of the heroes on the battlefield. At the conclusion of the statement, the Armed Forces prayed “for Paradise and eternal life for the martyrs who paved the path of glory and dignity with their blood, a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured, and the safe return of prisoners and missing persons.”BH/BH
