Beirut, March 02 (QNA) – Three people were killed and 40 others injured in Israeli airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said hospitals in the city of Tyre had received three fatalities and 37 injured people so far, some of them in serious condition.
Three other people were injured in an Israeli strike on a building in the town of Hosh Al-Rafqa west of Baalbek.
Israeli warplanes continued raids over southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting the towns of Selaa, Bint Jbeil, Hula and several other areas.
The attacks came after rockets were fired from southern Lebanon toward Israel, coinciding with a wave of mutual military escalation between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other. (QNA)
