Amman, Sept. 10 (Petra) – A Jordanian traffic officer saved a child,
who sustained a “severe” head injury after falling on the street in
Amman’s Tareq area on Thursday morning.
Sergeant Raja Ayasrah was on routine duty when he saw the child’s
tragic ordeal. In response, he immediately provided initial first aid
and then rushed the minor to the nearest hospital on his police
motorcycle within minutes, allowing medical staff to deliver
life-saving treatment in time.
In its statement, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) hailed
Ayasrah’s actions, adding that his “swift response showcases the core
values of policing work,” aimed to serve the community, answer the
call of duty, and help those in need.
