Khartoum, March 1, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan held a telephone call today with Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.The TSC President inquired about the situation in the Kingdom following the blatant Iranian attack on its territory.Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s support and its standing alongside the Kingdom and its brotherly people in the face of Iranian attacks targeting its security and stability. He reiterated the Sudanese Government’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting Iranian aggression, underscoring the Kingdom’s full right to defend the security and stability of its people.For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his appreciation for Sudan’s supportive positions toward the Kingdom and its people, commending the advanced level reached in Sudanese–Saudi relations.BH/BH
