Ankara, September 23 (QNA) – Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said his country’s exports approached USD 400 billion in 2025, setting a record.
Yilmaz added in a statement Wednesday that national income, which stood at only USD 239 billion in 2002, reached USD 1.6 trillion in 2025, and is expected to surpass USD 1.8 trillion by the end of this year.
He noted that exports of goods stood at USD 36 billion in 2002 and rose to USD 273.2 billion last year, while exports on an annual basis reached USD 280 billion through August 2026. He added that if Turkiye factored in total trade in goods and services, its exports of goods and services stood at USD 50 billion in 2002, increasing eightfold by 2025 to USD 400 billion. (QNA)
