Two Killed, Three Injured in Russian Strikes on Sumy Region, Ukraine

Kiev, June 29 (QNA) – Ukrainian authorities announced that two people were killed and three others injured in Russian strikes on the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine.

The Ukrainian National News Agency Ukrinform, citing local sources, reported that Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka, and Konotop districts came under attack, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to three others.

The agency added that investigative teams and explosives experts are working at the attack sites.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has seen a significant escalation in recent days, with both sides targeting oil facilities and vital infrastructure, resulting in casualties and material damage. (QNA)
