US Crude Inventories Rise as
Gasoline and Distillates Decline
New York, 23 Sep 2026 (ONA) — Data
from the American Petroleum Institute showed a rise in US crude oil
inventories, while gasoline and distillate stocks fell last week.
Market sources indicated that crude
oil inventories rose by 1.8 million barrels in the week ending 18 September.
They noted that gasoline and distillate inventories each declined by about 2.2
million barrels compared with the previous week.
