Amman, May 20 (Petra) — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) launched a
series of promotional events in several international capitals as
part of an integrated marketing strategy to showcase the Kingdom’s
tourism, cultural, and human heritage, as well as its investment
opportunities and attractive business environment.
The promotional program includes awareness and cultural activities in
London, Moscow, Rome, Madrid, Algiers, New Delhi, and Tokyo, as well
as events in Brasilia, Ottawa, and Jakarta.
The JTB said the events are part of ongoing efforts to expand the
Kingdom’s tourism promotion across priority international markets by
leveraging national occasions and global events to position Jordan as
a safe and diverse destination offering unique travel experiences.
It added that the events feature promotional and cultural
performances alongside interactive experiences highlighting Jordan’s
national identity, archaeological and natural attractions, and
religious and wellness tourism destinations.
The campaign also promotes national occasions, most notably the
Kingdom’s 80th Independence anniversary, in addition to the momentum
surrounding the participation of the Jordan national football team in
the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the aim of reinforcing Jordan’s modern
image and strengthening its position as a leading global tourism
destination.
The activities are being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry
of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs and Jordanian diplomatic missions
in those capitals, reflecting the diversity of Jordan’s tourism
product and enhancing the Kingdom’s international presence.
The JTB reaffirmed its commitment to implementing its promotional
strategies through its overseas offices and in partnership with
relevant stakeholders to expand outreach in target markets and
enhance the effectiveness of Jordan’s tourism marketing campaigns in
the coming period.
