Amman, July 22 (Petra) – Air defense systems detected six missiles
originating from Iranian territory targeting the Kingdom on
Wednesday, engaging them immediately upon entering Jordanian

Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF).

The source specified that air defense forces intercepted and shot
down four of the incoming missiles, while the remaining two fell in
remote, uninhabited areas, resulting in no casualties or material
damage.

Teams from the Royal Engineering Corps immediately deployed to the
crash sites and the locations of the interception debris to secure
the areas and neutralize remaining hazards in accordance with
established technical and security procedures, the source added.

continuous operational surveillance, emphasizing that the Armed
Forces will deal with any airborne threat targeting Jordanian
