Omdurman, February 3, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, announced the opening of the road to Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan State, and the lifting of the siege imposed on the city.In a brief statement from the studios of Sudan National Television in Omdurman, Al-Burhan said: “We say to the Sudanese people: congratulations on the opening of the road to Kadugli, and congratulations to our people in Kadugli on the arrival of the Sudanese Armed Forces.”The Commander-in-Chief affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces will reach any location across Sudan.BH/BH
