Doha, February 25 (QNA) – The third Al Thumama Ramadan Football Tournament will resume Thursday with three matches at the Al Furjan pitches in Al Thumama.
The tournament, organized in cooperation with the Qatar Sports for All Federation, features 13 teams and runs until the 17th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Al Rayyan face Doha, Abdullah bin Turki meet Al Rayyan, and Al Thumama play Al Wajba.
In the last round, Al Zaeem beat Doha 5-0, Abdullah bin Turki edged Al Thumama 1-0, and Al Wajba defeated Al Rayyan 2-1, with player-of-the-match awards presented in each game.
Organizers said the competition for players aged 10 to 14 has seen strong turnout and growing standards. A Garangao celebration will also be held in partnership with Al Ahli SC. (QNA)
