Amman, May 18 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces on Monday evacuated
the 28th batch of medical patients from the Gaza Strip, including 20
sick children and 40 of their relatives, under the “Jordanian Medical
Corridor” initiative. The evacuation operations are carried out in
accordance with royal directives.
The children are scheduled to receive specialized medical treatment
across several Jordanian hospitals, forming part of the kingdom’s
continuous humanitarian and medical efforts to provide healthcare and
relief support to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The medical evacuation program, which originally launched in March
2025, is executed in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of
Health and the World Health Organization (WHO). The initiative
operates under a structured medical and humanitarian coordination
framework that complies with international standards.
