Amman, May 31 (Petra) –The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed
Sunday’s general price index up 0.32% at 4,068 points, driven by
gains in the industrial and financial sectors.
Total trading volume reached JS26.4 million, as 6.3 million shares
changed hands across 5,497 transactions.
At the sector level, the industrial and financial indexes rose 1.20%
and 0.45%, respectively, while the services index fell 0.53 percent.
Of the 91 companies traded, 38 posted gains and 27 declined.
