Amman, May 21 (Petra) — Total trading volume on the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD20.2 million, as 5.8 million
shares were traded through 5,274 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,993 points, marking an
increase of 0.38%, against the last performance.
Of the 98 companies traded, 40 recorded gains in share prices, while
28 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
As for sector performance, the industrial and financial indexes rose
by 2.11% and 0.20%, respectively while the services index declined
by 0.33%.
