Manama, February 28 (QNA) – Bahrain’s National Communication Center confirmed that attacks targeted sites and facilities within the borders of Bahrain, launched from outside its territory, in a blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and security.
The relevant security and military authorities immediately activated the approved emergency plans and took necessary field measures.
The center strongly condemned what it described as “treacherous attacks” that pose a direct threat to Bahrain’s security and safety of its citizens and residents. It affirmed that the government reserves its full right to respond and take all necessary measures to protect national security and sovereignty, in coordination with its allies and partners.
The communication center added that further military-related details will be announced later by the competent authorities in accordance with national interests and security requirements.
It urged the public to verify information through official sources and avoid spreading rumors or unverified reports, to strengthen social security and maintain national stability. (QNA)
