Khartoum, March 6, 2026 (SUNA) – Continuing its Session No. (2) for 2026, which concluded yesterday, the Cabinet held another meeting on Friday chaired by Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris.Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir said in a press statement that the meeting discussed several key issues, most notably a briefing on the status of receiving the general framework of the “Government of Hope” projects for 2026–2027.The meeting also reviewed the Cabinet’s performance report for 2025, the program and agenda of Cabinet sessions for 2026, and the Government of Hope plan for 2026 presented by Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Limia Abdel-Ghaffar.The Minister further noted that the Cabinet discussed preparations for holding the postponed Sudanese Secondary School Certificate examinations for 2025, as well as the 2025 performance report of Khartoum State and its plan for 2026.Al-Eisir announced that the meeting approved the Cabinet’s performance report for 2025.BH/BH
