Omdurman, Feb. 1, 2026 (SUNA) – The Minister of Education and National Orientation, Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zain Hajar, discussed today the educational challenges facing South Kordofan State, including the provision of textbooks and classroom seating, during a meeting at his office in Omdurman with a delegation from the state government. The delegation was headed by the Government Commissioner, Gasim Othman Jar En-Nabi.Dr. Hajar announced support for the state with 1,000 seating units and 12,000 primary school textbooks, noting that these supplies are ready for delivery.He affirmed his continued support for South Kordofan, one of the states severely affected by the war waged by rebel militias, and directed that educational data and statistics be provided to identify priority areas for assistance.AS/BH
