Amman, May 23 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign
and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Saturday
from his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
The ministers discussed developments in the region, efforts to
de-escalate tensions, and ways to enhance regional and international
security and stability.
They agreed on the importance of the success of current mediation
efforts to end the crisis and reach a solution that addresses all
root causes of tension towards achieving lasting security and
stability in the region.
Safadi and Sheikh Jarrah also discussed ways to strengthen
cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
