Amman, June 29 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Expatriates announced on Monday the recovery of the body of a
Jordanian woman from the rubble following twin earthquakes that shook
Venezuela.
Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali said the Jordan International
Search and Rescue Team assisted in locating the body. He added that
the ministry, through its Directorate of Operations and Consular
Affairs and the Jordanian Embassy in Brazil, is providing the
necessary support to the victim’s family and Jordanians in Venezuela.
The ministry urged Jordanians in Venezuela to contact the ministry or
the Jordanian Embassy in Brazil for assistance around the clock
through its official hotlines and email.
