Khartoum, Jan. 24, 2026 (SUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Saturday affirmed that the Sudanese community in Yemen remains safe and in stable condition, according to an official press statement.The Ministry said it is closely monitoring the situation of Sudanese nationals across various parts of Yemen on a daily basis, with the Sudanese Embassy maintaining continuous contact with community members.It added that, for some time, the Ministry has been reviewing options to repatriate citizens who wish to return home. Discussions are also underway with Yemeni authorities on possible evacuation arrangements. However, the current suspension of air traffic from Aden airport has temporarily impeded air evacuations.The statement noted that alternative measures are under active consideration, including evacuation by land should air transport remain unavailable.FA/BH
