Paris, June 19 (QNA) – French President Emmanuel Macron met with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who is visiting Paris, to discuss the outcomes of the G7 summit with Arab leaders regarding the regional situation in general, and Lebanon in particular, as well as the repercussions of the memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran on the Lebanese situation.
The Lebanese Prime Minister stated on his official X account that he and the French President agreed on the necessity of working to secure the appropriate conditions for holding the conferences supporting the Lebanese army and security forces and for reconstruction efforts. (QNA)
