Port Sudan, Jan. 28, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Health Professor Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim met Wednesday with Air Defence Commander Major General Mahmoud Adrob to discuss support and operation of the Salalab (Air Defence) Health Centre.The meeting reviewed the centre’s assessment report and its urgent needs. The minister affirmed the Health Ministry’s commitment to providing essential equipment, including laboratory facilities, outpatient and minor surgery equipment, as well as a dental chair.Professor Ibrahim thanked the Armed Forces for their cooperation and stressed the importance of coordination between the Ministry of Health and Air Defence to improve healthcare services for citizens.The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Sayid Hassan from the Direct Treatment Office and Acting Executive Director Dr. Fatima Abdel Rahman.FA/BH
