Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. (Police) Babiker Samra Mustafa attended the annual iftar organized by the Anti-Smuggling Directorate in Soba, accompanied by the Assistant Director-General for Anti-Smuggling, Major General (Police) Amir Zein Al-Abidin Omar, and other military and police leaders.Major General Omar highlighted the directorate’s achievements, including seizures of drugs, prohibited goods, and restricted items, emphasizing continued efforts to combat smuggling to safeguard national security and support the economy. The minister praised customs personnel for their role in combating smuggling, particularly in gold, drugs, and weapons, noting their contribution to national security and economic protection.
