Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities in Duqm
Duqm, 27 Feb
(ONA) — An Iraqi business delegation headed by Dr. Mohammed Al Najjar, CEO of
Iraq Development Fund, today visited the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).
The
delegation viewed a number of projects in the zone.

Ali Akaak, CEO of SEZAD highlighted some investments in the zone, as well as
the incentives offered to investors. He also shed light on available investment
opportunities in various economic sectors.
The CEO of
SEZAD pointed out that the Special Economic Zone managed to attract investments
worth more than RO 6 billion over the previous years in different economic
sectors.
On his turn,
Dr. Mohammed Al Najjar, CEO of Iraq Development Fund said that there are many possibilities
for cooperation between businesspeople from Oman and Iraq. He also underscored the
importance of augmenting economic relations and stimulating business
partnerships.
