Beirut, September 15 (QNA) – Israeli forces continued their attacks on towns in southern Lebanon today, carrying out artillery shelling and machine-gun fire.
Field sources reported that Israeli forces set fire to several homes in the town of Al Bayada and shelled the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Al Mansouri with artillery, while simultaneously carrying out sweeping fire toward Al Mansouri.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out explosions in the town of Majdal Zoun and also conducted sweeping machine-gun fire toward the town of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah.
The Israeli attacks on Lebanon come amid continued tensions and escalation along the southern border, with concerns that the attacks could expand in scope and that residential areas will continue to be targeted. (QNA)
