Israeli Forces, Settlers Continue Assaults in Occupied West Bank, Jerusalem

Ramallah, February 22 (QNA) – The Israeli occupation and settlers are unleashing various relentless forms of assaults on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem Governorates.

According to local sources, numerous Israeli military vehicles moved deeper into Nablus from the eastern direction, reaching School Street and the Governorate’s perimeter.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers renewed their incursions into Ya’bad town, south of Jenin Governorate, Palestine, and detained several Palestinian young people who were beaten, with the occupation forces shutting down many commercial shops at the town’s entry after storming them.

In addition, several young Palestinians confronted settlers who were trying to break into Palestinian homes in Mukhmas village, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and forced them to withdraw.

Four days ago, the settlers attacked the same village and fired live rounds at the Palestinians, killing a Palestinian youth and wounding five others. (QNA)
