Amman, May 20 (Petra) – Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef
Issawi, sponsored a ceremony Tuesday evening, themed: “Thank You,
Your Majesty,” held by the Jordanian Charity Medicine Bank (JCMB).

The move came in appreciation of His Majesty’s continued support for
humanitarian and charitable initiatives, including the bank’s efforts
in this regard.

Addressing te ceremony, several speakers expressed their pride in the
Royal patronage and ongoing support of His Majesty King Abdullah II
to humanitarian and volunteer work nationwide, which contributes to
serving the citizens and strengthening social solidarity.

A number of officials, supporters, partners, artists, and media
representatives attended the event.

Dr. Ashraf Kilani, JCMB Chairman stated Royal attention is a “source
of pride and honor for the bank and all its employees, volunteers,
and supporters.”

He added that this Royal effort also serves as an “incentive” to
continue humanitarian mission of providing medicine to the most
vulnerable groups and contributing to achieving pharmaceutical
security and strengthening the community healthcare system in Jordan.

For their part, Dr. Mahmoud Khaldi and Dr. Lama Boubli presented the
bank’s key achievements since its establishment and the humanitarian
role in serving the local community.

They referred to the bank’s efforts to deliver treatment and medicine
to vulnerable groups across the Kingdom’s governorates, in
partnership with official institutions, the private sector, and
supporting entities.
