Amman, July 28 (Petra) — Jordan Post has launched a new
commemorative postcard collection for 2026 celebrating the Kingdom’s
rich architectural and historical heritage.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the company said the collection
reflects its ongoing efforts to document Jordan’s national heritage
and showcase the Kingdom’s historical and archaeological landmarks,
highlighting their cultural and tourism significance.
The commemorative collection features three of Jordan’s most
prominent heritage sites, reflecting the succession of civilizations
that have flourished across the Kingdom. The initiative also aims to
promote awareness of Jordan’s cultural legacy and encourage
collecting among heritage enthusiasts and philatelists.
The collection includes three commemorative postcards featuring Umm
Al-Jimal, Jerash and Karak, each priced at JD1.40.
The postcards are available through the Stamps Department at Jordan
Post’s headquarters in Muqabalain, adjacent to the Jordan Radio and
Television Corporation building.
